03 · Exclusive to the beige version

Light that soothes.
Cold that awakens.

The beige version comes with three magnetic gel layers: one for the whole face and two for the cheekbones. They attach to the mask and stay with you through the 10 minutes of light. Light and cold together, whenever you fancy.

  1. 01

    Keep them in the fridge

    4

    Seal the ritual

Finish with your usual moisturiser. You don't need anything else.

05 · Before you decide

The four questions
we all ask ourselves

Will I actually use it?

It's ten minutes, cordless, and it switches itself off. Most of us wear it while reading or before bed. That's why we designed it as a ritual, not just another gadget.

Why this one and not a €500 mask?

Because it has 9 light modes and 280 points of light covering your whole face. And in the beige version, cooling layers are included, something masks costing twice as much don't offer.

What if I'm not convinced?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it unused, with the seal intact. We'll send you a free label and refund your money.

Is it safe?

No UV rays, and the red, infrared and blue lights are tested to the European eye safety standard EN 62471. It's CE marked and comes with a 3-year warranty.

One LED session at an aesthetic clinic: €55–100.

With FRETA: ≈1,09 € per session in the first year

Contact FRETA

I've tried cheaper LED masks. What makes Selene different?
The difference is in what you can't see. Selene spreads 280 points of light with four wavelengths (630, 850, 465 and 530 nm) across your whole face, and we publish its power: 38 mW/cm² in contact. Many budget masks don't say what light they give, or how much. Plus: 9 modes, cordless, flexible skin-tested silicone, lab testing and, in the beige version, cooling layers.
When will I notice a difference?
LED light is a ritual of consistency, not a one-night thing. Use it three or four times a week and give it a few weeks: every skin has its own rhythm. What you will notice from day one is ten minutes just for you.
How many times a week should I use it?
We recommend 10-minute sessions, three or four times a week. What matters is consistency: make it your moment.
What's the difference between pink and beige?
It's the same mask, with the same lights and the same 9 modes. Only the colour changes, and the beige also comes with the cooling layers. Pink ships between 28 and 30 November; beige ships between 7 and 16 December.
Is it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin?
Yes. It doesn't emit UV rays and the temperature never goes above 41 °C. If your skin is sensitive, start with the green mode or gentle infrared, and do the one-minute test on your arm first. If you have a skin condition, check with your dermatologist first.
Does it get hot? Is it uncomfortable for the eyes?
You'll feel a gentle warmth: the surface never goes above 41 °C. The light is intense: the red, infrared and blue lights are tested to the European eye safety standard EN 62471. You can close your eyes during the session.
Who shouldn't use it?
Don't use it if:
· You have a pacemaker or another electronic medical device (defibrillator, infusion pump…).
· You're pregnant or breastfeeding, or under 18.
· You have photosensitive epilepsy or photosensitivity, or take medication that increases sensitivity to light (including long-term corticosteroids).
· You have heart problems, abnormal blood pressure, diabetes, an immune or infectious condition, or problems with wound healing.
· You have or have had skin cancer, melanoma or suspicious moles.
· You've had Botox in your face in the last 3 months. If you have fillers, check with your doctor first.
· The skin in the area is irritated, sunburnt, broken or has inflamed spots.

Don't combine it with photosensitising cosmetics or acids. Don't use it while it's charging or near water. If you're under medical care or have any doubts, ask your doctor.

Before your first ritual, try it on your arm for one minute. If you notice a reaction, we'll accept the return even if it's been opened.
Are there studies on LED light?
Yes. Red and near-infrared light are among the most studied in skincare. You'll find some references in “What the science says”. These are studies on LED technology in general.
How do I know it's good quality and will last?
Its LEDs have a lifespan of over 50,000 hours: years and years of rituals. The silicone is tested for skin contact (ISO 10993), the battery has its own safety test (IEC 62133-2) and the mask has passed electrical and light safety tests in the lab. Plus a 3-year warranty. All the details are in the technical specifications.
I already have an LED mask. Why Selene?
Because it adds what most are missing: magnetic cooling layers (beige version) so you can enjoy light and cold together, 9 modes for every moment, no cables and a published power figure with its source. Plus a complete ritual, with a guide and playlist made for those ten minutes.
How do I use the cooling layers?
Keep them in the fridge. Before switching on the light, attach them to the mask with the magnets: light and cold together for the full 10 minutes. They're optional: use them whenever you like. Don't use a layer if it's damaged. If you're allergic to isothiazolinone-type preservatives, don't use the layers.
How do I change modes?
With the wireless remote or the button on the mask. Each press moves to the next mode, and the session switches off by itself after 10 minutes.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge (about 3.5 hours via USB-C) gives you about 2 hours of use: around twelve sessions.
Can I use it over make-up or moisturiser?
It's best on clean, dry skin. After your session, apply your usual serum and moisturiser.
What is pre-order?
Reserve today and we'll send it as soon as it reaches our warehouse in Spain: pink between 28 and 30 November, beige between 7 and 16 December. We'll email you the tracking number when it ships. All the details are in the pre-order terms.
What if the price drops later?
If you buy on pre-order at €199 and we sell it for less on fretacare.com within the next 12 months, we'll refund the difference. Just write to us with your order number. Full details in the pre-order terms.
When will it arrive if I reserve today?
Pink ships between 28 and 30 November. Beige ships between 7 and 16 December. We'll email you as soon as it ships, with the tracking number.
If I order pink and beige, will they arrive together?
We'll send each one as soon as it reaches our warehouse, at no extra cost: pink between 28 and 30 November and beige between 7 and 16 December. You'll receive an email with tracking for each delivery.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, at any time before it ships, with a full refund.
How much is delivery?
It's free to mainland Spain and the Balearics.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, in 3 interest-free payments with Klarna. We also accept cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
What if I'm not convinced?
You have 30 days from delivery to decide. We'll send you a free return label and refund your money. For hygiene reasons, it must come back with the seal intact, unless you have a reaction during the sensitivity test.
What warranty does it have?
3 years from delivery. If something goes wrong, we'll repair or replace it, no fuss.
Does it make a good gift?
Yes: it arrives in a box made for gifting. If you buy it for someone else, they also get 30 days to decide.
